Although this is not one of my favorite by Ms Taiden, there is no denying that she is the Mistress of hot and steamy sex scenes. Since I knew the length when I purchased it, I will not comment on the length other than to say that it is a NOVELLA. I knew what to expect when purchasing a novella. However, I would love to have read a little more build up to their finally mating. I cannot say this enough... I absolutely LOVED the strong heroine. This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading this story again and the rest of this series as well. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes plus great shifter characters and seriously sexy paranormal romance, make this book a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down! Lol
This is book 3 in the series but each book is a stand alone story and has a HEA. Can a wolf shifter mate with a cat shifter and make it work? Well you need to read this story to find out. LoL. I recommend this story and series to all. Happy reading. Could not put it down once I started reading.
This was an awesome read. Milly Taiden has once again done it. The characters are amazing and I could not get enough of them, the story, wow, fell in love with it from the moment that I started reading and the pace at which it moved along was perfect. This book has to be read and experience, there is no doubt about it.
I typically don't like short stories, but this one was really good. I think, at least part of the problem I have with short stories is.....Not being warned in advance that what I am paying for isn't a full length book. But if I know ahead, and know and enjoy the author, I have been pleasantly surprised. As is the case with this one. And I plan on reading the rest of the shorts in this series.

Having been jilted once before he is wary about entertaining a mating with Ana Cruz, can he have his cake and eat it too? Can a feisty kitten play nice with a puppy? Can they survive there hang ups? The sex(all consuming and completely debauched)is everything you expect from Milly Taiden(sexy,sultry,sensuous), there is a reason she is the Queen and she doesn't disappoint!
This is a very quick read. Perhaps even a tad too short...However, for as short as it is, I still liked it. Callum had a previous bad experience with being mated, which makes him gun shy. Enter his sexy, very curvy assistant who he avoids as if she has the plague. She is determined to be a great assistant to him even as she struggles with her cat's heat. Overall a fun read but definitely needed to be longer so there is less of a rushed feel at the end.
Another great addition to the series.
